It’s been 2 years since the MINI’s last model changes and now the 2021 version is looking fresher than ever.
Most of the changes are on the front with new air curtains are integrated into the front bumper and the front fog lights have been removed. The grille is also much larger, with a hexagonal design and a body colored panel that bisects the design and houses the number plate. MINI purchasers will have the chance to add significantly more black accents over the car giving it a more unique and personal look. There are also three new colours to choose from, Island Blue, Rooftop Grey and Zesty Yellow.
Inside, there is a slightly new steering wheel which sits in front of a 5-inch digital gauge screen that was originally only available on the MINI Electric. A new version of MINI’s version of iDrive sits inside the familiar looking central circle. It measures 8.8-inch in size. Available options include heated steering wheel and an adaptive chassis with frequency-selective damping. The new electric parking brake will also be available for some models.
Powertrains are going to be the same as before with the petrol, hybrid and the Electric motors to choose from.
Orders for the new Minis can be placed now, with the first cars being planned for delivery in spring 2021.
